The Critic

This was the first major production by the re-named The Young Theatre (St. Alban’s) and it was also the first to have two evening performances. As usual, the production, on Friday, 3rd & Saturday, 4th March 1967, was staged at St. Alban’s Church Hall, North Harrow, and represented the first move by the group into the realm of more "adult" drama.

The extraordinary feat of staging a sea-battle between the English and Spanish fleets on a stage measuring 20 feet by 14 feet [6m x 4.25m] cannot be under-estimated!
