This production by THE YOUNG THEATRE at Beaconsfield - staged on 6th, 7th & 8th January 1972 at the Burnham Hall, Beaconsfield - was an original adaptation of the book by C.S.Lewis, and as such required special permission from The Dramatic Publishing Company of Chicago, who held the world-wide stage rights, before it could go ahead.
