| With their production
of Snow Queen, The Young Theatre proved yet again that
they are one of the leading youth drama groups. Ian Wallace's direction was first class and helped the cast give some very good performances, in particular an amusing characterisation from Paul Bacon as the crow (sic) ... But it was the backstage team who excelled with a variety of interesting sets, imaginative costumes and above all some splendid effects. ... an ambitious new play from the story by Hans Christian Anderson with many colourful and contrasting scenes which never failed to keep the audience's rapt attention until the final curtain. |
