David Edgar, one of England's foremost political playwrights, and recipient of numerous awards, wrote Ball Boys, the one act play with which The Young Theatre became the winners of the British Drama Festival in 2004. David’s biography appears on the Contemporary Writers site.

Robert Glenister, an actor of considerable standing and star of Hustle (amongst many other Radio & TV productions), was a very active member of The Young Theatre at Harrow during the 1970's - and thus becomes the first member to become a patron of the group!
